Transforming Self-Assessment: Custom KPI Platform for Andiron
Where it all started
Andiron is committed to empowering individuals and organisations by helping them navigate and understand polarities and paradoxes. They offer tools and frameworks designed to foster personal and professional growth.
To better serve their community, Andiron required a secure and efficient platform to manage their Key Polarity Indicator (KPI) assessments, which assists individuals in understanding and navigating dualities through frameworks like the Wheel and the Diamond.
Where we came in
We partnered with Andiron to redesign and rebuild their KPI Portal. The new platform is tailored to meet the needs of five distinct user types: Admin, Processor, Practitioner, Participant, and Rater. Our goal was to create a seamless and scalable user experience for completing and managing assessments.
The KPI Portal was designed to provide a streamlined experience for all user types, and to offer four types of assessments: Human Self, Human 360, Leadership Self, and Leadership 360.
What we delivered
Creating a Modern Platform
The redesigned KPI Portal incorporates powerful features for managing and completing assessments. Key features include:
- User Management: The platform enables Admins and Processors to efficiently manage all users and projects.
- Project Management: Processors and Practitioners can manage their own projects, including creation, editing, and tracking.
- Assessment Creation: Admins, Processors and Practitioners can create individual assessments for Participants, who in turn can invite Raters to contribute to their personal and professional development. and oversee the entire assessment process.
- Credit Management: Admins and Processors can issue credits for creating assessments.
- Generating PDF Reports: The reports are auto-generated as PDFs and can be downloaded, with customisable data visualisation options.
The KPI Portal has been well received by Andiron’s users, enhancing their ability to manage and complete assessments effectively.
Notes on technical implementation
The web application uses a custom-built survey system with a ReactJs frontend and a backend powered by Nhost and PostgreSQL to process survey questions and responses. PDF generation is also built with custom code to allow full flexibility in viewing the reports.The KPI Portal for Andiron has provided a secure, scalable, and user-friendly platform that enhances the assessment process and aligns with Andiron’s mission of helping individuals navigate their dualities. We are continuing to work with Andiron on making further improvements to the platform.
